The library is separate from the application and can be replaced by changing
libheif-bundle.mjs at the same URL to an interface-compatible build. The small
heic-worker.mjs application adapter is separate and readable source. Any
replacement must retain the metadata preflight and security-limit interfaces,
or deliberately adapt the worker and repeat its correctness/security checks.
Nothing in this application imposes restrictions on modifying/debugging the
LGPL library. Original and exact corresponding source/build instructions:
